In addition to practicing law, David Lefkowitz also is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Georgia Law School, where he teaches Legal Malpractice Law. The course explores legal malpractice law, policy and problems. In addition to civil liability claims, it covers approaches to managing risks, avoiding malpractice lawsuits and avoiding bar complaints. The course also deals with malpractice insurance and defenses to claims for legal malpractice.

He is chairman and moderator of the annual seminar “Professional and Ethical Dilemmas in Litigation,” in which Supreme Court Justices, Court of Appeals Judges, Trial Judges, Ethics Experts and Practicing Attorneys address ethical and professional challenges that lawyers routinely deal with in their profession.
